1. Product Features: WAMkey separates the crown from the abutment without applying ANY pulling force or lateral movement. 2. How it Works:
- Step 1: First, identify the most accessible location on the crown. The goal is to estimate the thickness of the cement layer between the joint surface of the abutment and the inner surface of the crown.
- Step 2: Drill a small, thin, horizontal hole into the crown.
- Step 3: Continue drilling, widening the hole until you can see the cement layer.
- Step 4: After verifying that the gap is at the cement level, drill deeper until you reach the core of the tooth preparation.
- Step 5: Slightly widen the hole to form a horizontal rectangle.
- Step 6: Finally, insert the tool into the bottom of the gap and perform a simple twisting motion with the handle. The crown is removed
